Bulls linked to trade for Clippers' Bennedict Mathurin as free agency nears

Summary

The Chicago Bulls have been connected to Los Angeles Clippers guard Bennedict Mathurin as he remains a restricted free agent. Sources indicate that Mathurin's situation has attracted sign-and-trade interest, with the Bulls potentially offering Isaac Okoro and second-round picks. Mathurin, a 22-year-old player with four seasons of NBA experience, had a notable performance during the 2024-2025 season, averaging 16.1 points per game. The Bulls aim to retool for the future while moving players like Okoro, who is set to earn $11.8 million in the upcoming season.
