Bulls trade two second-round picks, acquire Kam Jones from Pacers

The Chicago Bulls executed a series of trades during the NBA draft, moving both of their second-round picks. They traded the No. 56 pick to the Los Angeles Lakers for cash and selected Purdue guard Braden Smith with the No. 38 pick, later sending him to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for guard Kam Jones and cash considerations. Jones, who was drafted 38th overall in 2025, had a rookie season averaging 4.4 points and 3.2 assists in 37 games for the Pacers. The Bulls’ front office is focused on roster reconstruction following the recent firing of Artūras Karnišovas.
