Bundesliga and second division set attendance record with 21.4 million

Germany's Bundesliga and second division reached a record ticket sales figure of 21,404,258 for the past season, with an average attendance of 34,974. The top-flight Bundesliga saw ticket sales increase by 9.1%, aided by the return of SV Hamburg and Cologne. The average stadium occupancy hit 96.1%, improving from 95.9% the previous season, with four clubs achieving 100% occupancy. Borussia Dortmund attracted the highest average attendance, with nearly 80,000 spectators per match. Season tickets comprised over half of total sales in both leagues, with average ticket prices also rising slightly this year.
