Burglars target new Palo Alto CardVault store opened by Tom Brady

The CardVault store in Palo Alto, owned by Tom Brady, was burglarized on August 23, less than two weeks after its opening on August 15. Thieves broke into the storefront shortly after midnight by smashing a window and display cases. The burglary resulted in the theft of 60 trading cards estimated to be worth more than $12,000. This incident follows a previous security breach at a CardVault location in New York City during October 2025, where over $10,000 in inventory was stolen. Local authorities have not provided updates regarding suspects or recovered merchandise. Brady was present at the Palo Alto location for its grand opening earlier this month.
