Burnley head coach Hayen reflects on time with Haverfordwest County

Nicky Hayen, the head coach of Burnley, expressed gratitude towards Haverfordwest County following his tenure at the Welsh club. Hayen served as Haverfordwest's manager for six months, where he helped the team avoid relegation and nearly reach the European playoffs. After a stint in Belgian football, he was appointed Burnley boss this summer, taking over after a difficult season that saw the team relegated from the Premier League. Burnley currently sits at the bottom of the Championship after a loss to Swansea. Hayen is still in contact with Haverfordwest chairman Rob Edwards, who was disappointed by Hayen's departure but supportive of his career progression.
