Burt Myers secures 103rd win at Bowman Gray Stadium

GolfBurt Myers celebrated his 103rd career victory at Bowman Gray Stadium during the Elite Underground Utility 100 race on Saturday. After starting in 20th, Myers took the lead on lap 70 and led to the finish, marking his first win of the 2026 season. His win adds to the success of the Myers family, with brother Jason and son Slate also competing strongly in other divisions. Kevin Gilbert won in the QRC HVAC & Refrigeration Street Stock division, while Sterling Plemmons and Bryan Sykes Jr. achieved victory in the Law Offices of John Barrow Sportsman division. Next week features another double points night at the historic oval track.
