BVB Women prepare for Sunday home match against DJK Wacker Mecklenbeck

BVB Women host DJK Wacker Mecklenbeck this Sunday at 3 p.m. at Stadion Rote Erde. The Dortmund side enters the contest following a 5-0 away victory over SSV Rhade last weekend. Coach Markus Högner expects a challenging encounter against an unbeaten Mecklenbeck squad that has secured four points from its opening two matches. The opposition recently claimed a 2-1 win over MSV Duisburg, featuring a stoppage-time goal from former BVB player Jasmin Jabbes. Forward Rita Schumacher remains a doubt for the match after finishing the training week with a knock, while Marina Scholz has rejoined the squad. The match will be broadcast live and free on Pluto TV for fans unable to attend the game in person.
