BYU women’s golf team wins Red Raider Invitational at Texas Tech

The BYU women’s golf team won the Red Raider Invitational on September 23, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas, achieving a total score of 5-over 869. The Cougars finished two shots ahead of host Texas Tech and secured their first tournament victory since April 2025. Freshman Kate Walker placed second with a score of 2-under 214, contributing to the team's overall performance where all five starters finished in the top 25. This victory comes after a ninth-place finish in their season opener earlier this month. The team will next compete at the PD Intercollegiate on October 5-6.
