Caden Buhr hits winning field goal for Iowa in Cy-Hawk game

Iowa kicker Caden Buhr converted a 42-yard field goal with 15 seconds remaining to secure a 16-13 victory for the Hawkeyes against the Cyclones on Saturday. Buhr finished the contest 3-for-3 on field goal attempts. The second-year player from Bettendorf assumed the primary kicking role this season following the graduation of Drew Stevens. Before the game-winning kick, Buhr opened his season with a 40-0 shutout against Northern Illinois, where he made two of three field goals. A former standout at Bettendorf High School, Buhr previously held school records for a 57-yard field goal during his senior year. He redshirted last season and earned his first collegiate action during a 47-7 win over UMass.
