Caden Pinnick takes first-team reps in WSU's first scrimmage

During Washington State's first scrimmage of fall camp on August 15 at Gesa Field, Caden Pinnick emerged as the standout quarterback, taking the majority of first-team reps. He completed 12 of 20 passes for 79 yards and one touchdown while also running for 27 yards. Julian Dugger and Owen Eshelman, also in the quarterback competition, each led scoring drives, contributing to the team's overall performance. Coach Kirby Moore and offensive coordinator Matt Miller emphasized the need for continued evaluation before determining the starting quarterback. The coaching staff plans to reduce the competition to two quarterbacks in the near future.
