Cadillac officially joined Formula One for the 2026 season as the first new team since 2016. The team is owned by TWG Global in partnership with General Motors. TWG Global was established in 2024 and has invested heavily in motorsports, also owning Andretti Global and other racing teams. Cadillac's entry into F1 includes a significant expansion fee of $450 million, distributed across the existing teams. Their drivers for the inaugural season are Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas.
