Cageside Community announces Week 28 wrestler voting results

"

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what’s going on in pro wrestling — Wrestler Rankings are where YOU let us know YOURS. Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the five performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why.We also have the outcome of last week’s voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for the Cageside Cup, given to our Performer of the Year. This week, we’re voting on nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows that took place Oct. 25-31, 2026 — Raw, NXT, Evolve, Dynamite, Impact, ROH on HonorClub, MLW Fusion, SmackDown, CMLL & AAA’s weekly shows, NXT Halloween Havoc, and everything else I’m no doubt forgetting. But first, here’s the outcome of last week’s voting, and how those results changed our annual competition for the Cageside Cup. That is one happy Mad Dragon right there… His debut war with Speedball earned the former WWE United States champ the top spot, ahead of the WWE Women’s champ after a successful defense, and the new WWE Women’s Tag champs. San Diego wanted Rey to win, but we rewarded the WWE Intercontinental champion for his Triple Threat classic. He got to split fifth with The Last Outfit’s Cut’s leader. Our Very Nice, Very Controversial annual leader padded said lead, and look, I get it if he’s not your cuppa — personally, I enjoy him quite a bit, but I also don’t want this much of him on my pro wrestling or sports entertainment programs. Regardless, the man hasn’t left our screens since February and occasionally takes them over for a week at a time when there are creepy holidays or NBA championship runs WWE can tie him into. I don’t really see any way to argue that he’s not on a really impressive run. Moving on… Don Callis’ meaty new tag team squashed The Young Bucks and grabbed our attention. The former two-time World of Stardom and long-reigning IWGP Women’s champ is now Marigold’s Triple Crown champ, and our latest tenth place Rankings finisher. The CCWR: 2026-27, Week 27 1. Ilja Dragunov 2. Chelsea Green 3. B-Fab 4. Michin 5. (tie) Chad Gable 5. (tie) Jay White 7. Danhausen 8. Mark Davis 9. Jake Doyle 10. Mayu Iwatani Points in our weekly Rankings determine the ongoing annual one — which will determine who wins the Cageside Cup next April. Full details on rules and scoring HERE. IYO SKY – 33 Ready to do it again? You can always check the “how to” here if you need to, or ask a question in the comments. The main things you need to know are you have five spots on your ballot, you can’t put the same person in two of them, but you can split a single or multiple spots between multiple wrestlers. Now… Let’s have those ballots! We’ll take it from there, and see you back here in a week for the results and another vote!
