Cagliari confirm Romano will not leave amid interest from clubs

Cagliari director Pietro Accardi stated that Alessandro Romano will remain with the team through the January window despite interest from clubs like Inter and Juventus. Romano, who recently made his debut for the Italy national team, joined Cagliari from Roma this summer on a loan deal with an obligation to buy. Accardi emphasized that the club recognizes its responsibility to its supporters and intends to keep their promising young player. Cagliari, currently sitting seventh in Serie A with 12 points from five matches, is preparing to face Juventus in their upcoming match on Sunday.
