Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell earn Player of the Month honors for Fever

Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell of the Indiana Fever have become the first backcourt duo in the WNBA to sweep Player of the Month awards in consecutive months since 2011. Clark earned the Eastern Conference accolade for June, while Mitchell claimed the honor for July. Mitchell has maintained an MVP-caliber performance with an average of 27.6 points over her past 14 games. The Fever has won nine of their last 12 games, bolstered by Clark's elevated play that includes a triple-double against the Portland Fire and a recent 45-point game against the Seattle Storm.
