Cal adds three wide receivers to support QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele

The California Golden Bears have brought in transfer wide receivers Chase Hendricks, Cooper Perry, and Ian Strong to assist quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele. After losing top receivers Jacob De Jesus and Trond Grizzell, who accounted for over half of Sagapolutele's completions last season, the Bears aimed to strengthen their passing game. Hendricks had 71 receptions for 1,037 yards at Ohio University, Strong made 52 catches for 762 yards at Rutgers, and Perry had limited action at Oregon. These additions come as the Bears look to improve their 7-6 record from the previous season after struggling with dropped passes. As Fall camp approaches, coaches are optimistic about the potential of their new recruits.
