Cal may be without starting QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele against Hokies

The Virginia Tech Hokies (4-1, 1-1) are set to face the California Golden Bears (2-3, 1-1) on Saturday. Cal's starting quarterback, Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, is in concussion protocol after sustaining a head injury during last week's loss to UNLV. Sagapolutele has completed 65% of his passes this season. Virginia Tech is looking to rebound from a controversial 35-33 loss to Pitt. Cal will also have a new playcaller after head coach Tosh Lupoi replaced offensive coordinator Jordan Somerville during last week's game.
