Calais Campbell labels Jonathan Taylor the league's most explosive running back

As the Baltimore Ravens prepare for their Week 1 season opener, defensive player Calais Campbell identified Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor as the most explosive back in the NFL. Campbell acknowledged other high-performing runners such as Christian McCaffrey but placed Taylor at the top of his list. The upcoming game serves as an immediate test for the revamped Baltimore defensive front, which recently added Trey Hendrickson. Players such as Nnamdi Madubuike, Travis Jones, and Broderick Washington are expected to anchor the interior rotation against the Indianapolis rushing attack. Roquan Smith noted that the Baltimore defense must maintain gap discipline and set firm edges to contain Taylor, whose ability to reach the second level remains a primary concern. The matchup represents a significant challenge for the Baltimore defensive system as the team looks to start its championship campaign with a positive result.
