Army football quarterback Cale Hellums has been selected for the 2026 Maxwell Award preseason watch list, one of four quarterbacks from the American Conference to earn the honor. The Maxwell Award recognizes the best all-around college football player. Hellums is coming off a strong 2025 season, leading all Football Subdivision quarterbacks with 1,223 rushing yards and ranking second in Army history with 18 rushing touchdowns.
