Cale Makar works with Bauer while awaiting Avalanche contract

Cale Makar of the Colorado Avalanche is keeping busy this summer by trying out new hockey gear from Bauer alongside Hilary Knight. Makar revealed that he replaces his skates every four to five games. Additionally, the NHL trade deadline is projected to be March 1 in 2027. This summer has seen various former Avalanche players transition into new roles, including Jack Johnson, who will assist Ohio State's women’s hockey program, and Andrew Agozzino, who is now an assistant coach for the Tucson Roadrunners after retiring from professional play.
