Caleb Falconer's contract nearly lost over email identity concerns

Summary

Caleb Falconer faced delays in securing a contract for The Hundred due to identity verification issues regarding his father's involvement in the auction process. While Falconer was away at the Under-19 World Cup, the England and Wales Cricket Board needed to confirm his father's identity after concerns arose about a hoax email. Eventually, Falconer secured a deal with Southern Brave for £55,000. Although he has not yet played this summer, he may get an opportunity in the team's final group match against Trent Rockets next week.
