Caleb Metcalf dies in car crash before college football debut

Caleb Metcalf, a star athlete from Flushing High School, died in a single-car crash on Sunday, August 2. The accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. near Grand Blanc, Michigan, where the vehicle left the road and crashed through a wall of a home. Metcalf, who was set to debut with the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils next month, was ejected from the vehicle and later died at the hospital.
