Caleb Williams suffers hamstring injury, status for Week 3 uncertain

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams left the game against the Minnesota Vikings due to a non-contact right hamstring injury in the fourth quarter. An MRI confirmed a Grade 1 strain, allowing some relief as it avoided a more serious injury. Williams completed 15 of 26 passes for 138 yards and one interception before exiting. Three-time Super Bowl champion Mark Schlereth criticized Williams for his reliance on scrambling instead of playing from the pocket. As of now, Williams is considered week-to-week, making his availability for the Bears' Week 3 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles questionable.
