California commission plans combat sports fundraising event at vineyard

The California State Athletic Commission will host a unique combat sports event called Napa Knockout on July 25 at Raymond Vineyards in Napa Valley. Featuring luxurious food and wine alongside boxing, muay thai, and MMA matches, all proceeds will benefit the commission’s Fighter Pension Fund for retired athletes. Tickets are priced at $500 for general admission and $1,000 for ringside seating. Confirmed attendees include noted fighters such as Ronda Rousey and Nate Diaz, with a lineup planned that features multiple bouts. CSAC Executive Officer Andy Foster emphasized the goal of giving back to the combat sports community.
