Callaway and Good Good have each terminated specific employees in response to a controversial advertisement for a new driver. The commercial featured Garrett Clark of Good Good tackling a female co-star while attempting to retrieve a club from a bag. The video drew immediate public backlash and led Callaway to dissolve its partnership with the YouTube channel. Following the incident, Good Good also lost sponsorships tied to a PGA Tour event and a partnership with the Golf Channel. Good Good chief executive Matt Kendrick confirmed the departure of his marketing team, while Jeffrey Lefkovits, the firm's vice president of brand and marketing, was also let go. Separately, Callaway parted ways with Alex Upegui, its director of content and production.
