Cam Newton suggests Falcons as potential trade spot for Shedeur Sanders

Summary

Former MVP Cam Newton believes Shedeur Sanders could be a good fit for the Atlanta Falcons. Sanders' chances of playing time with the Cleveland Browns have decreased with Deshaun Watson as the starting quarterback. Newton emphasizes the need for reliable backup options given Michael Penix's injury history with the Falcons. Sanders could provide that stability and has potential as a starter. The Falcons' performance has been inconsistent, highlighted by Penix's absence due to injury. A trade for Sanders remains uncertain as the Falcons evaluate their options at the quarterback position.
