Cam Schlittler’s late arrival frustrates Blue Jays ahead of match

New York Yankees pitcher Cam Schlittler arrived late to the mound for his start against the Toronto Blue Jays on August 21. His tardiness drew visible frustration from Blue Jays players, particularly veteran pitcher Max Scherzer. Schlittler, who has excelled this season with a 2.19 ERA through 26 starts, wore customized cleats for 'Player’s Weekend,' which could explain his delay. The Yankees, looking to maintain momentum, face the Blue Jays, who need a win to improve their playoff position.
