Cam Skattebo reflects on upbringing with parents Leonard and Becky

Cam Skattebo, born in February 2002, grew up in Rio Linda, California, the son of Leonard Skattebo III and Becky Skattebo. The Skattebo family, comprising Cam and his three siblings, shared a close bond, with Leonard serving as Cam's first football coach. Although his parents divorced when Cam was 16, they supported his athletic pursuits. Cam's early daredevil antics earned him the nickname 'Houdini' and eventually led to his selection by the New York Giants in the 2025 NFL Draft. He returned to the field for the Giants’ season opener against the Dallas Cowboys on September 13, 2026, after recovering from an ankle injury sustained in 2025.
