Cam Ward struggles in limited action against 49ers backups

Summary

Cam Ward played three series for the Titans in a game against the 49ers on August 13, completing 5 of 12 passes for 57 yards. He recorded a 56.6 passer rating, ran for 2 yards, and faced an intentional grounding penalty. Despite these challenges, he led an 11-play, 95-yard opening drive culminating in a touchdown run by Tony Pollard. After the initial drive, the Titans managed only 26 yards on their last two series.
