Cam Williams signs first professional contract with Liverpool

Summary

Liverpool announced on October 13 that defender Cam Williams has signed his first professional contract with the club. The 17-year-old, who has been with Liverpool since age six, previously played for the under-18s but missed most of last season due to injury. Now back in action, he has made 14 appearances this season, contributing two goals and two assists. While Williams aims for a first-team role, competition for the left-back position remains as he could step up if Kostas Tsimikas departs at season's end.
