Cameron Carr to miss Lakers' preseason trip to Slovenia

Summary

Los Angeles Lakers rookie Cameron Carr will not attend a preseason trip to Slovenia led by Luka Doncic, as he is required to be at the NBA rookie orientation scheduled for the same time. Doncic invited all 17 players on the Lakers roster to the all-expenses-paid bonding trip, which is seen as important for team cohesion. Carr, who had a strong season with the Baylor Bears, could have contributed to the Lakers' new-look lineup, particularly in their wing rotation. The rest of the Lakers' roster is set to join Doncic in Slovenia. Carr's participation in the rookie orientation is mandatory, making his absence vital for both events.
