Cameroon secured its first title at the Women's Africa Cup of Nations with a 3-0 win against Malawi in the final held yesterday. All three goals were scored in the first half, with Marie Ngah Manga netting twice and Naomi Eto contributing one goal. This victory marks a significant achievement for Cameroon, which had previously reached the finals three times and had to qualify for this edition after being initially excluded. The Indomitable Lionesses only conceded twice throughout the tournament while drawing two matches. The team’s goalkeeper, Michaely Bihina, earned the Golden Glove for her performances, and Malawi's Temwa Chawinga secured the Golden Boot.
