Canterbury Bulldogs sign Noah Fitzgerald to contract through 2028

The Canterbury Bulldogs have signed St George Illawarra Dragons junior halfback Noah Fitzgerald to a deal extending through the 2028 season. Fitzgerald, a former Illawarra Steelers player, joins the club following a recruitment period focused on securing young talent for the Bulldogs pathways system. This addition follows the recent signings of forward Api Amone and fullback Connor Votano by the Belmore-based organization. The Dragons have experienced several exits from their junior ranks recently, including the departure of outside back Tex Anderson to the Dolphins for 2027. Fitzgerald is expected to compete in the SG Ball Cup for the next two seasons before potentially transitioning to the Jersey Flegg competition.
