The Vancouver Canucks selected Samuel Eriksson with the 184th overall pick at the 2026 NHL Entry Draft. Eriksson, a left-shot defenceman, played last season with Färjestad BK in the J20 Nationell, where he recorded three goals and nine points. At 6'6" and 212 lbs, he is noted for his physical play and defensive skills. Eriksson also represented Sweden internationally, contributing to a Gold medal win at the U18 championships and earning a Bronze at the World Junior A Challenge. He was the 31st-ranked European Skater by NHL Central Scouting.
