Cardinals defeat Rockies 7-6 after ninth-inning comeback in Denver

Ivan Herrera capitalized on the defensive miscue by hitting a three-run home run to reclaim the lead for St. Louis. Rockies reliever Jordan Romano took the loss after failing to secure the final outs of the game. Ryan Feltner provided five innings for Colorado, allowing four earned runs on seven hits. The Rockies have now reached 87 losses on the season with 21 games remaining on their schedule.
