Cardinals place rookie Chase Bisontis on injured reserve for the season

The Arizona Cardinals have placed rookie guard Chase Bisontis on injured reserve, effectively ending his season. Bisontis suffered a torn MCL during a preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Although initial assessments suggested his ACL was unharmed, the Cardinals made the roster move official due to the injury's severity. With Bisontis out, Isaac Seumalo and Isaiah Adams are positioned as the starting guards, while Jon Gaines and Hayden Conner will provide depth. Additionally, tight end Jameson Geers and linebacker Austin Keys were also placed on injured reserve, prompting the signing of tight end Baylor Cupp, defensive lineman Keveion’ta Spears, and running back Tre Stewart to the preseason roster.
