Cardinals release quarterback Kedon Slovis from active roster

The Arizona Cardinals are waiving quarterback Kedon Slovis. Slovis joined the team's practice squad in August before being signed to the active roster on October 11. During his tenure with the club, he appeared in two games and recorded five snaps. He completed one of two pass attempts for a total of minus-one yard. The move leaves the Cardinals with Jacoby Brissett, Gardner Minshew II, and Carson Beck at the quarterback position. Slovis previously spent time with the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans.
