Cardinals score ten runs to defeat Rockies in Denver

The St. Louis Cardinals rallied from an early four-run deficit to defeat the Colorado Rockies 10-6 at Coors Field. Trailing 5-1 in the fifth inning, the St. Louis offense sparked a comeback keyed by a two-run single from Leo Bernal, a bases-clearing liner by Javier Baez, and a three-run home run from Nolan Gorman. Cardinals relief pitcher Cooper Hjerpe made his MLB debut in the contest, throwing four no-hit innings with six strikeouts. While Kyle Leahy struggled through three innings for St. Louis, the bullpen held the Rockies to one additional run for the remainder of the game.
