Carlisle United sign forward Micah Obiero from Wealdstone on two-year deal

Carlisle United have completed the signing of forward Micah Obiero from National League rivals Wealdstone on a two-year contract. The 25-year-old deal includes an option for a further year and an undisclosed fee. Obiero previously spent time on loan at Brunton Park while with Huddersfield Town in 2020. The forward registered 17 goals for Wealdstone last season and earned a Kenya national team call-up this summer. Manager Rob Elliot stated the addition provides a new attacking dimension to the squad. Carlisle currently sits 14th in the National League standings.
