Carlos Baleba impresses in Manchester United's draw against Leeds United

Carlos Baleba made a strong impression in his first Premier League start for Manchester United during the 1-1 draw against Leeds United on October 18, 2026. The match marked another frustrating result for United, which is now on a six-match winless streak. Manager Michael Carrick noted Baleba's commanding presence in midfield, alongside Andrey Santos, as a positive amid the team's struggles. United remains in 12th place in the Premier League and has only one win from its first two Champions League games. They will face Como next in Italy as they seek to improve their form.
