Carlos Baleba makes Manchester United debut ahead of Tottenham clash

Summary

Carlos Baleba made his debut for Manchester United in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Lausanne Sport, contributing to a 2-1 victory. The £70 million signing had been sidelined due to an ankle issue since transferring from Brighton. With United's Premier League match against Tottenham approaching, Baleba's performance provides a boost for a team that struggled with a recent 1-1 draw against Fulham. Matthijs de Ligt also returned to action, marking his first appearance since November after overcoming a serious back problem. His presence could strengthen a previously vulnerable defense.
