Carlos Jorge promoted to Triple-A Louisville after impressive Double-A stint

Carlos Jorge, a 22-year-old outfield prospect for the Cincinnati Reds, has been promoted from Double-A Chattanooga to Triple-A Louisville. Jorge had an outstanding season with Chattanooga, batting.330 and posting an OPS of.854. He recorded six home runs and stole 16 bases before his promotion, and was recognized as the Southern League Player of the Week for his performance in late May. The Reds signed Jorge from the Dominican Republic during the 2020-21 international signing period. Other players promoted to Louisville include pitchers José Acuña and Johnathan Lavallee.
