Carly Bronson finishes third at Class A state golf meet

GolfCarly Bronson of Hayfield placed third in the Class A girls state golf meet at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker on June 10. She shot a second-day score of 76, totaling 157 for the tournament, and finished just one stroke behind Hope Reid from Community Christian. Bronson, a six-time state qualifier, has committed to play golf at Southwest State University. In addition, Blooming Prairie golfer Aubrey Alwes took 40th place with a score of 187, while Brady Johnson and Drew Reinke finished 43rd and 69th, respectively, in the boys' competition.
