Carol Hutchins highlighted as a top Greater Lansing athlete

Carol Hutchins, a standout athlete from Greater Lansing, is recognized for her achievements at Michigan State University. She was a two-sport athlete, excelling in both softball and basketball. Hutchins played a key role in MSU's 1976 national championship softball team and was named an All-City basketball player in high school. After her collegiate career, she became a notable coach, earning the title of winningest NCAA softball coach with 1,707 victories.
