The Carolina Hurricanes started their preseason camp on September 17, 2026, marking just over three months since they secured the Stanley Cup by defeating the Vegas Golden Knights. Celebrations included a parade and time with the trophy, but the team is now focused on preparing for the upcoming season. Key players, including top-line center Sebastian Aho, are emphasizing the need to build on their success, while the team is coping with the absence of goaltender Frederik Andersen and defenseman Alexander Nikishin, who remains unsigned.
