Carolina Panthers consider trading for tight end Sam LaPorta

The Carolina Panthers are reportedly exploring options to improve their tight end position. Despite drafting three tight ends since 2021, including Tommy Tremble and Ja'Tavion Sanders, the team has not found a standout playmaker. ESPN's Ben Solak suggests the Panthers should consider trading for Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta, who could provide significant help for quarterback Bryce Young. LaPorta, a Pro Bowler, may be available due to the Lions' salary cap concerns. The Panthers have yet to approach the Lions about a trade as of now.
