Carolina Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn stated he does not regret the NFL ending the Pro Bowl Games. Speaking to reporters on September 10, 2026, Horn characterized the previous event format as "trash" despite noting he will miss the social aspect of the annual gathering. The NFL announced two weeks ago that it will no longer host a competitive athletic event to honor its top players. Starting with the 2026 campaign, the league will shift to an honorary designation for selected players without an accompanying game. Executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent stated the move follows discussions with players regarding the value of the honor. Horn, a two-time Pro Bowl selection, previously recorded five interceptions during the 2025 season.
