Carolina Panthers sign David Moore to the team practice squad

The Carolina Panthers are expected to sign wide receiver David Moore to their practice squad. The move follows his release Sunday during the team's reduction to an initial 53-man roster. Moore, a ninth-year veteran, is entering his third season with the organization. He previously played for the Seattle Seahawks and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the latter alongside head coach Dave Canales. During his tenure in Carolina, Moore has appeared in 21 games with seven starts, recording 33 catches for 356 yards and three touchdowns. He was excluded from the initial wide receiver group consisting of Tetairoa McMillan, Jalen Coker, Xavier Legette, Brycen Tremayne, Jimmy Horn Jr., and John Metchie III.
