Carolina places Chris Brazzell II on injured reserve for 2026 season

Carolina wide receiver Chris Brazzell II has been placed on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury during NFL training camp. The former Tennessee player will undergo season-ending surgery on his lateral collateral ligament. Brazzell II was drafted in the third round this past April. To fill his roster spot, the Panthers signed tight end Chamon Metayer, who previously played for Cincinnati and Arizona State.
