Carragher welcomes Alexander-Arnold return to Liverpool amid struggles at Real Madrid

Summary

Jamie Carragher expressed a willingness to see Trent Alexander-Arnold return to Liverpool, stating the player knows he made a mistake by transferring to Real Madrid. Since his move in 2025, Alexander-Arnold has not met expectations, starting only three La Liga matches this season. He was a late substitute in Real Madrid's recent 2-1 victory over Barcelona. Carragher believes Liverpool has missed Alexander-Arnold's creativity at right-back and suggested that a return could address defensive issues.
