Carson Beck impresses analysts in first NFL start for Cardinals

Summary

In his NFL debut, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Beck showcased his skills on August 6 against the Carolina Panthers. Beck completed 15 of 19 passes and led three scoring drives in four series, raising discussions about a potential quarterback competition. Despite his impressive performance, veteran Jacoby Brissett is expected to start the season. Analyst Dan Orlovsky emphasized that Beck's preparation and execution could challenge the team's initial plans. Looking ahead, Beck may get his first official start in Week 12 against the Washington Commanders as the Cardinals evaluate their options for the remainder of the season.
